Well I purchased a Horizon trailer about a month ago and have been doing a few mod's.:wings: Now sure if the pictures are in order but here go's. A while back I assisted my brother building some dawers for his trailer so why not. hell we are twins.
so I did the same for me. on both sides. Next I mounted 2 LED lights on the back of the trailer for night time backing up and general use, more lightening is better? Next I installed a onboard battery charger and a rechargeable Streamlight flashlight and a 5 lb Fire Ext.:Wow1: My brother told me that somes guys Rhino lines the front of their boxes, well I used a thin Diamond plate adds a bit of flai,r if not, looks cool anyway. :elkgrin: I still have a bunch of mod's I want to do, install a sink,:iagree:water pump, Tie my LEDS lights to my jeeps back up lights. and a few other things, but what the hell it's only money right My brother had a great ideal about mounting his folding table under under this RTT awesome ideal so I will be looking into that as well. :victory: All holes that were drilled in the metal were sealed with 5200 marine sealant to prevent rust. Around the diamond plate was sealed. Also when I bought the trailer I undid the bolts that held on my side boxes and removed all of the small stones that were kicked up over the years, re tightned the bolts and sealed the groove to prevent more small debris from entering and eating through the paint to cause rust spots. Thanks Bro for that one.!
