A few LR3 questions

Power Wagon Family

I Hate Off Camber
I will own one soon... I think so want to ask some questions.

The air suspension:
With Johnson rods I can still adjust the height? Meaning the access, normal and off-road modes will all be 2" higher then the factory height with out the rods?
What is the max speed in off-road mode?
Does the suspension drop to access mode when the vehicle is turned off?

Misc questions:
Aside from clearing codes what's the GAP IID tool most commonly used for?

I think that's it for now...
Thanks for helping a newbie

Yes, with the Johnson Rods the suspension still moves through the same range of adjustments via the center console lever. It's just that each position (low, normal, high) is approx. 2.5" higher than before.
Off road max speed is about 25 mph as I recall. With the rods (I run them full time) I've never really needed to run faster than that in off-road mode since my current 'normal' is basically the same as 'off road' was before the rods.
No, the suspension is not supposed to drop to access mode when turned off. It should stay where it was when you shut it down (standard, access, or off-road). If left long enough, it will eventually bleed down and settle, but this should take a week or more. If it happens overnight, you have a leak in the system.
Clearing codes and other troubleshooting of the electrical systems are the biggest benefit to the GAP IId tool but it can do much more. It can turn on/off many systems. For example, I have disabled my TPS since I'm not running stock tires/pressures anyway. You can (or will be able to shortly) enable the nav system on the move. You can disable the parking sensors (if for example you have aftermarket bumpers and have removed them) etc. It can also be used to adjust the suspension settings and re-level the truck if you've changed a sensor or can be programed with 3 (?) different ride heights that you can easily select from. With the BT version, you can also do extensive data logging for more advanced diagnostics.
