I will definitely post some pictures if my wife and I make it there. I'm excited to see the prairies again in all their green splendor. Love the Seas of Grass. Wish I could have seen the original Tall Grass Prairies before they became the breadbasket of the US.

^ hunted chickens, sharpies and early season ducks with my Dad and brother back in the 70's/early 80's; great times and memories. Moon Lake Ranch (my Dad worked for Peter Kiewit...fun getting to roam with permission on their ~100k acre ranch...definitely got spoiled), Calamus (pre-reservoir)...seemed so remote back then. Many, many fond memories of western NE...not so much eastern NE

Trying to figure out how to cram another drive back with a little Sandhills explore time...this spring. Nothing quite like the dance and song of SH cranes along the Platte flats in the spring...
