A Jeep that might make someone switch brands

The VM certainly wasn't praised in Australia , and they were not very popular in UK in the early RRC either . You see about as many jeeps in UK as you see defenders in US . Crash regs, and design constraints, also emissions are really starting to limit true expedition vehicles in the EU area. :(

Having just returned from a trip to the UK, I would say I saw more Wranglers there than I normally see Defenders here. As for Defender spotting over there....well, I was a little sick. They were about as common as an F150 around here.

:sombrero: I agree, tha cost would probably be at least $55K-NEW- and I can't see it's favor here in the US-

The suspension won't handle those tires/fenders and the gas cans would ruin the fenders also-unless

It's strictly a Maller-

The unremovable top is a no-no for most the younger jeepers also-

The concept vehicle does nothing for me. but

I think maybe the European overlanders might likeit, because of the Diesel and overlanding caps-

Those are the exact same tires as on the Overland JKU from a couple of years ago, LT285/75R17s. They fit and fold into the fenderwells just fine.

lol they are trying to expand the wrangler is like SUPER popular here and way expensive. retail for a unlimited version is in the 45,000 add tires lift etc and you are in the big money; just makes economic sense for a company to capitalize on this vehicle appeal.

While I question the quality, Dodge is making vehicles people want. The 707hp version of the charger and challenger...they had to STOP OFFERING THEM because they couldn't build them fast enough. I mean, if that isn't the ideal product, I don't know what is.

Same with the Jeeps. I'm starting to see more Cherokees around as well. Although they are 2WD, but whatever. Jeep is selling vehicles. Oh and they've done a great job at keeping the Grand Cherokee really nice. Very well appointed and luxurious. They've got the full line. Get you started with a Patriot or Cherokee. Then into a Wrangler. Then into a GC. Friggen brilliant.
