A little Burro upgrade/repair

This Burro isn't use for offroad expedetions but, she does spend many weekends in it. It's her house on wheels.

Here are the befores. I'll keep this post short...
Double jacks,lol. You have a choise, wheel or foot!!!

nice security chain, not good. It would have pulled out if the hitch came off.

The basket would bend as soon as you would put your foot on it, no weight added. I didn't want to break it in front of the owner.

Time to get to work.....
Removed the jacks and cleaned up the old welds. Put on a new jack that was made for that spot were the chain was mounted. Nice and clean now.

Now this will hold up. Drilled holes, stuck'm in, then welded in the hoops. Paint to finish. "Shoot, no pictue of that."

Time for the back, cutting off the old angle iron brakets.

All done, even a spot for the licence plate. Time to paint.

Threw on a bike rack just to show her. now she can put on different hitch items.

Nice job. It looks good going through the bumper with the receiver instead of under it. I was going to go the lazy way but I like the way yours looks... might have to go that route instead.
