A question for 1st gen owners

The factory backspacing for a SFA toyota truck is 3 3/8. Will a toyota factory wheel that is 16x6 and 3.75" BS fit without spacers. Assume the tires are 235/85 R16.

Can't answer for sure, but I can say that it will depend on the actual shape of the wheel and whether they are alloy or steel. My alloy 15's with the same BS barely clear with no spacer. By barely I mean that the tie rod end boots are in jeopardy of being rubbed through. Not sure how much the additional 1/2" of rim diameter might help this.

Know that there is no longer stud made in the stock size. If the wheels that you're considering using are alloy you may be marginal on lug nut thread engagement. I've been looking for a solution and it comes down to either swap in some aftermarket 1/2-20 studs that do not have the correct shoulder shape - but might work, or setup the wheels in the mill to slightly deepen their lug seats.
