A stock Gen III explores Utah

Looks like a lot of fun. It's been nearly a decade since my last wheeling trip to Utah. I think it's high time I went again.:smiley_drive:

Noticed in your report a mention about sliders. I picked up a pair made by Rocky Road in Heber, Utah. Easy bolt-on in OE step location, great look, nicely welded, very strong.

Great pics of the sliders. Those are exactly the ones that I was hoping to get. It's nice to hear an endorsement from an end user rather than the hyperbole of the advertisement. Thank you!

Any other armor under there?

Not yet. There's a local 4X4 shop here that fabricates. I'll be barking up that tree to see what can be done. I'm also checking with them on fabricating a rear bumper with spare tire carrier. I'll post what I find out. Perhaps if we have a number of people interested they'll work with their pricing.

Yeah, the rear bumper is the only thing that's going to be at all tricky with this otherwise simple project. There's a whole bunch of pics of various custom rear bumper builds that some fellow has posted on Flickr...going to have to dig that up....
