adding and wiring rear lights

So my flatbed came with a set of truck-lites. Not the coolest unit in the world but it will work for now. There are 4 light requirements:

-Tail lights
-Brake lights
-Turn Signals
-Reverse

However,

It came wired with (one each side):

-2 lamps on tail lights
-2 lamps on brake lights
-1 lamp on reverse
-nothing on turn signal

So, do I sacrifice a tail light or brake light for my turn signal. I would venture to guess a brake. If this did not make any sense I will attempt to explain it
again.
This is the unit I have:

That doesn't sound right. From the look of the light housing, you should have a turnsignal, a brake and tail light combination, and reverse lights. OR a brakelight, running light, and reverse light.

You need to look at the bulbs and figure out if there are dual filliment. This is the key to figuring out which is a turn signal or brake light.

Your brake light should be combined with your running light, so the brake is brighter than the running light. The turn signal IMO should be seperate.

I figured it out. I had the dual filament bulbs wired incorrectly. The way I had it initially wired had the "high" lamps on all the time. After I swapped leads it was fine. Thanks for jogging my memory.
