Advice on trailer hubs

ust bought a Morris Mule knock-off with the Timbren Axle-less suspension. The builder put on the Northern Tool 1750lb hubs. These are supposedly their highest rated hubs. On Thursday, I swapped out the 27" tire/wheel combo with my 33" tire/wheel combo. On Friday, while driving on the highway, I heard a weird whining noise. I pulled over and, as I turned into a parking lot, I noticed the right trailer wheel wobbling. I got the trailer jacked up and the wheel was complete loose on the spindle. I finally got the castle nut free (remains of cotter pin were still there) and removed the hub. There were no bearings anywhere, 1/8" of grease lining the entire inner wheel, no bearing carriers and the races frozen/welded to the axle. I called Northern Tool and was told that their hubs are only recommended for standard trailer tire/wheel combos and not the larger/heavier off-road tire/wheel combos. This is distressing as I bought this to be an off-road trailer. I have to order a new axle assembly for the right side as mine is gouged and scoured pretty good plus the races are welded to the axle anyway.

Doe anyone have a recommendation for off-road hubs? What is everyone else using?

Dexter hubs with Timken bearings and races. Don’t use anything else.
