Aftermarket rims questions.

So my 98 montero rims have about had it. I was going to just blast and paint them like some others have but I have a few chips taken out of them.
I know I need a 108mm center bore but thats all I know.
I have been running 31x 10.5 tires and love the feel and how they set under the fenders. I do not want to lose this.
15x7 or 15x8?
What about offset and backspacing?
All of the online rim stores down list all the info on the rims but make you choose by car type, then nothing comes up for my monty!
I have went to local tire and rim stores and they dont even have the monty in their books.

Any help is much help. Thanks:)

Toyota LC and 4runner rims should also fit but you just need to be careful that the center bore is 108mm. Then just be sure the offset is as close as possible to 0mm unless you go with larger tires.

Not really here
Do you think you could post up some pictures of what you come up with? I'd like to see what you settle on.

Also I know that my stock rims are hub centric (98 montero sport), meaning the wheel rides on the hub, not the lugs or bolts like most every other vehicle that are lug centric. Not sure if this could be a problem seeing as how the wheels are designed to ride on the hub and not put much weight on the lugs. Just a thought...

I always thought that if a vehicle was hub or lug centric then both front and rear axles would be the same (lug or hub centric). In the case of the montero (not sure about sports though) I suspect they're actually lug centric because the rear axles are definitely not hub centric. In all my montero's (4 Monteros in total) they've all been lug centric but the front hubs are all very tight on the rim. The rear's however have all definitely been lug centric which makes me believe the fronts are really lug centric also.

Thats the issue im seeing is those big hubs up front.
I dont want to buy brand new wheel then have to cut the center bore out. Takes some of the fun out of getting new stuff

Yea on the montero sport the wheels are all the same and are hub-centric there are special tabs on the stock wheels that make sure of that, rears also fit very tight on the hub. The reason I'm sure of this is how the lugs are shaped, they aren't tapered they're just straight as are the lug nuts too. I know that's one of the indicating factors of hub-centric wheels.

108mm center bore and no need to cut anything...

Not 100% sure about all wheels but every rim I've bought would have worked as either hub or lug centric rims since even the ones with cone shaped lug holes have also been very tight on the hub.
