Aftermarket Seat Cushions

Driving a 5th gen 4runner (2011). Evidently the seats on the more recent model years are decent; the ones on mine are uncomfortable....to the point where I am considering a new vehicle.

I did want to explore the option of using aftermarket seat cushions; perhaps $200 spent now would prevent me from having to spend several thousands of $ to trade for a newer vehicle. These are the cushions I am considering: Gel Car Seats.

Has anyone tried these? If so, what is your feedback? Do they help with back/butt pain during long drives?

Don't know if 4runner seats are same as my Tacoma, but a lot of Tacoma owners complain about their seats. I have the optional Sport seat and on long drives my right hamstrings and upper back get stiff and sore. I pretty much fixed it with two very small mall pillows. One I sit on and is under my butt, wedged into the space between the seat and back of seat, and extends only halfway forward under my legs. This lifts my butt so my hamstrings are then more fully supported by the seat. It also gives me a little better view of the ground in front of the truck which I find helpful negotiating offroad. I slip the other pillow behind my shoulder blades and extending up to the base of my neck. It is a bit inconvenient but hey, I 'm cheap and it works.
