Air Bags instead of Coil Springs

Yeah, I should be able to dig that up. Might even still have the dead one lying in the garage.

The downside is, right now, even if you have that number you might not be able to get any bags. They are pretty scarce and my last replacement was a used one from a shop in Pismo.

There are a lot of other bag options. If I was doing something that wasn't out of the box ORO fitment I'd probably start with some bags from www.airbagit.com. They seem to have quite a selection of different sizes.

No personal experience but I have heard that when you link airbags they won't support side to side roll. Basically when you lean a little one way or the other the bag simply pushes air out of the downside and into the upside with nothing to limit the air transfer. If this is the case I can see where it could become very dangerous.

x2, as cool as an idea as it might seem it isn't really all that useful in practice. Life is much simpler on a retrofit like this if the bags are just used as springs and nothing more.
