My 06 LR3 SE/HD has been settling at night for some time. It only has 70,000 miles so the airbags leaking seemed unlikely. I had checked everything and even had it in to a mechanic. He updated my software and said it should take care of it. No such luck. Finally after hours of searching an searching, I found a small leak in the body of my compressor. I posted hear and the majority opinion was that this should not cause the suspension to settle because of the protection from the valve blocks. A friend of mine who is a master LR mechanic said yes it could cause the settling over time. He also said that in all his time as a LR mechanic he had never seen a valve block leak. Maybe that is because of the dry air in Utah. I changed my compressor and viola, no more settling! The leak on the old compressor is so small that I am going to repurpose it as an onboard air system on my Sportsmobile. It is a good day when a problem is finally solved! Cheers
