Airbeds: twin or double?!

OK air bed users. The $59.97 question.

Do you use a queen airbed like this big baby or two twins?

I've been trawling online and Target and K-Mart and can't decide. Cannot allow my wife to make the decision, as a matter of pride.

Sort of depends... If one of you turns allot in bed an air mattress will toss the other around quite a bit unless it's well baffled.
A twin avoids that problem.

We went with the queen.

I have a dual zone air mattress that works ok as far as isolating the other persons movement. Looks like this:

If camping in colder climates, I'd much prefer something that insulates better.

I went with a larger air mattress, and even when I'm camping solo it's nice to have.

My wife and I use a big matress like the link you attached. It has worked well now for 5 plus years now, but has a little leak and by the next morning we are both smushed in the middle! I think it's time for a new one. Not sure what we are going to get, I was thinking individual sleeping pads so we can make a little extra room for our 1year old in the tent.

I know it is late but for others: My wife is half my weight. When we used one, I hit the floor and her side was solid as a rock. We will never buy one for the two of us.

We use a single level queen size Coleman (about 8" off the ground when topped off.) It has worked well for years. As the temps drop in the night so does the air pressure, so inflating well just prior to hitting the hay helps avoid the sag. My wife is about half my weight too and it hasn't ben a problem so long as I top off right before bedtime.

I get tired of rolling out of the rack and then getting up, I could see where a taller matress would be nice.

I sure don't mind the space with the queen when I'm alone either.
