Allow myself to introduce myself...

When I was a kid my dad and I used to take these 5,000 mile "Camping" trips in his (brand new) CJ7. Mom and Dad always had Jeeps so I naturally followed suit.

I am currently on my 10th Jeep totalling over 1 million miles. :Wow1: of Jeeps.

Just sold off my TJ from the last ten years to move into a JK. SOOOOOOO excited to have a 4 door that is more worthy of expedition style wheeling and move a bit a way from just doing local trails.

I have enough pictures on line that I could probably post pics for days, but here are a couple.

The "old" TJ.

I will still probably just lurk a bunch here......for a little while.

Thanks guys.

My plans eh? Boy is that always a loaded question.

This is really a do it all type of rig. Needs to be able to haul us up skiing in the winter and handle some fairly difficult trails in the summer.

Here are some pics of wheeling with the TJ to give you an idea of the type of wheeling I tend to run across. Would like to do more just "exploring" this time around with some real distance involved. (but still needs to handle what I want to do).

Creature comforts are a bit more important to me these days. Want something comfortable to drive ANYWHERE, commute etc.

So the next step is to work on items like bumpers, adding a step to the rockers, OBA system, HP upgrades, Rhino line tub, and about a million other things.

I'm not sure how I miss this thread, but welcome to Expo Cole! It's nice to see another Rockcrawler.com alumni here. I remember many of your pictures from those days and even had that calendar with your TJ on the cover.

Here's my cover shot from way back in 2004.

Sweet. Love the cover shot. Glad to see you still around.

(and I still have several copies of my on the calendar, even a framed one in my office, now I just need to get the JK on the calendar)
