I'm curious as to the camping restrictions in these beautiful areas you spend so much time in. Can you basically camp anywhere along the road, or in designated campgrounds only?

There are a few areas with restrictions....but most of this area is open to dispersed camping

Great pics. I visited the area for my first time a few weeks ago and was astonished at the number of spurs that were back there. Great stuff!

We camped within sight of Lake Como once. It was awesome. Only saw one other vehicle the whole time we were there.

I was out there 2 weeks ago - absolutely awesome!

Looks like you had similar weather to us. I was hoping for those famous deep blue skys, but we ended up with a lot of broken clouds. At least we never got rained on!
