Alternative to Pelican 1730?

I'm in the hunt for a single case to carry my Camp Chef 2 burner stove and my expandable kitchen table set from Gander Mtn. I was looking at the Pelican 1730 but I can't justify $300+ for a case. Any recommendations?

The stove is 25x14x6 closed and the table is 32x10.5x4.5 closed. I'm looking for something a little less damaging on my wallet, yet withstand being mounted on the roof.

Any suggestions?

I'd put the table in a seperate case - maybe a big piece of 12" diameter PVC pipe with a removable end bolted to the roof rack. My aluminum table won't get hurt if it gets wet so I usually just strap it down between a couple of the 1600 series Pelicans I use for my other stuff. that way you could use a smaller less expensive Pelican for the stove.

Beam Distributing in Richmond has some of the best prices on Pelican stuff that I have found.
