Alu Boxes Now in Stock!

Hi All,

We are happy to announce that we are now officially Alu Box dealers! This is one of those times we moved a bit too fast...the new web store is still being built...we just get too busy here!
For now we will be offering them, along with some other new products, here until we get the store rolling in a few weeks.

We accept cash, check, paypal and credit cards. As a special limited time offer just for EXPO we will offer free shipping on all boxes in stock.

Now on to the boxes.....these are just bad ***. I will fully admit to having a box and bag fetish and these pushed me over the edge. The boxes are formed of 1mm thick aluminum, there is a dust/moisture seal on the top, the inside is sealed with silicon, there are positive locking latches and handles on the top and/or sides depending on the model. The boxes are designed to stack with corners that nestle together. The handles are load rated and can be used to secure the box wherever it is needed.

I am a huge fan of both pelican and Storm cases as well. We sell them BTW... I see a few major advantages to the Alu-box and a few to the Pelican/Storms as well.
The Pelican/Storm weighs considerably more for a given volume, almost twice as much
The Pelican/Storm has a considerably larger exterior foot print compared to the interior size. The Alu-Box is only slightly larger on the outside than the inside volume.

The advantage of the above points is you carry less weight and use less space doing it. I find this especially valuable on my roof rack and interior mounted cases. Also, when I need to hand transport a loaded case the less tare weight the better.

The Pelican/Storm are of a much thicker construction.
The outside ribbed areas offer additional protection for the case.

The advantage of these above points is that you can load the crap out of a Pelican/Storm, fill it full of tools and nuts and bolts, toss it off the roof rack at 50 mph and chances are it will still be fine.
An Alu Box would still be fine but it would be dented up. They are designed to maintain their structural integrity in this sort of situation but they will be beat all to hell.

We use the Alu Boxes for food, clothing, fluids, tents, tarps, lighter weight spares etc... The Pelican/Storms hold tool kits and heavy spares and jacks. Both kits are great and both have their uses. Funny enough they all cost about the same but the Alu Boxes are are sexy :)

We started with three main sizes and can order all sizes. Our friends over at Equipt1 also carry Alu Boxes and they might have other needed sizes in stock for you.

Here it is...the Mac Daddy...the big guy the 163L box. This is a great box for the roof rack or a trailer. It is big; no doubt about it. This one box should hold the vast majority of items that go on a roof rack or into a trailer.

Product code: Alu S163
Length 46,5 inch
Width 15 inch
Height 15,7 inch
Weight 17,6 lb
Max load 220 lb

Cost: $379.00

Out of curiosity, what's the overall height of two 42L boxes, stacked? Trying to figure out if two would fit stacked beneath my tonneau...
