I'm interested in the videos. Whatever years you have. Post them up.
You know, I don't eat much of the stuff anymore, and I've cut way back on the high fructose corn syrup, but when Scott and I get together it's kind of a tradition. It's a bit messy for trail food (cheese residue and crumbs), but somehow it works. I tried the fancier, more involved stuff for years, but for a day ride it never really did the trick.madizell said:Now that's the guy I remember. Smartfood must be one of the major food groups.
Scott and I were stationed together at Mountain Home AFB (he was a fireman, I worked on F-15s) in the early-mid '90s. We used to explore the deserts and mountains together, then retreat back to my house for videos. I don't think we ever really stayed up late, since we were usually pretty tired from wheeling all day. Probably the latest we were out was the time he broke both motor mounts on his M38A1 and I towed him 50 miles home with my CJ-5 in second gear (the 3rd-4th shift linkage broke). That was a long, noisy ride after a great day of wheeling up in the Owyhees. Come to think of it, it was kinda Land Roveresque in nature...James86004 said:Were you two college roommates or something?
I used to be able to stay up late with my friends like that. Now I am lucky to make it to midnight on New Year's Eve.
