Amarok Camper?

wheel placement looks too far off - i don't really see much offroad capability, and looks really unstable.

I agree, it looks as though it would be more at home on a camp site.

Compared to the Toyota for example;

Hi,

Agree with you guys the BiMobil isn't really it. Maybe on a Reg cab, but even then it just looks top heavy.

I think it is a shame that the amarok won't be in the US. I tested one 2 weeks ago. really nice.
Has more then enough Power for daily driving and Diff Lock :wings:. Even my kids would have room behind me (6'6").
Well maybe they will change their mind, then I'll take one. :elkgrin:

I got my hands on an Amarok yesterday. Impressive "little" truck. You can tell it is designed for the overseas market. Has everything you need but nothing you don't.

You can really see how VW used the hilux as the Benchmark! Just wish we didn't have the Chicken Tax. $25,000 it would be a great truck but to bad for it to be profitable here in the US it would have to sell for 40k.
