Ambulance box weight?

The closest to answering your question I can can come...
Weight over rear axle is +/- 6500 lbs. The relatively empty truck is 700 lbs heavier on the drivers side vs the passenger side. I'd estimate the rear to weigh 5800 lbs if the cabinets and house batteries were removed. My box is only 88" wide vs many that are 96" wide which will make some difference. I don't know the weight of the rear 1/2 of the rig... perhaps 1800-2000 lbs for the Dana 70 dually axle, rear frame, etc.
This would leave the box itself weighing +/- 4000 lbs for a 88" wide box.
