Another fuel tank question.

We discussed these a bit in my thread. I was sort of interested in them, but you can't get the auxilliary side tank without having the new main tank first. The main tank appears to hang lower than the factory tank, making the departure angle worse. And the auxilliary tank hangs to the bottom of the rear fenders, so you can't trim those as it common to gain departure angle. I think it's a nice setup if you restrict yourself to dirt roads, but if you're really doing any hard off-road stuff, not so much. Also, I bet to purchase both tanks and have them shipped to the US, you'd be into it for $2000. That's a lot of money compared to $150 for 4 Jerry cans.

hmmm..I totally forgot about the angles. But having 53 gallons vs 25 would be nice, also it would lower my center of gravity and move it back some. Lots of things to consider.
