I guess this is going to be our yearly trip. We lucked out this year and it just happened to snow the day before we left.

We jumped over hwy259 on the maintained portion of the Kiamichi Trail, until we found a County Rd/Forest Rod to the side, that showed up on the GPS's, with an open gate. We explored it for a bit, and kept getting shut down as this road hadnt been traveled in a VERY long time. Downed trees all over kept us from getting very far. We stopped, had lunch, and hit the pavement to the Caney Creek Wilderness, where our usual camp site is.

Spent the last day exploring around the forest looking for new camping sites OFF of the beaten path. Came up on one of the campsites we used to use back before we all had 4x4s.

Great trip as usual, and even better with a bunch of powder on the ground!
