I've been in one of those RTT by wild boar at an expo about 3 years ago. My guess is that they only made few prototypes or a limited number production run. As far as I know they are no longer made. For that kind of money, you can do better anyway. This design is still a tent with soft roof which will be wet if it rains - that means storing a wet tent when it is time to go. Autohome or something similar I think is a better choice; you get hard shell roof. With hard shell roof, even if it is raining hard the wall will remain mostly dry. Canvas RTT is great but for $2,695.00 there are a lot better choices (that may be the reason why they don't make them anymore).

good call

But that got me thinking for what I wan t to do the jk habitat is what I would like but the price is outrageous IMHO I had a flip pac on and tacoma a while back and I think I only paid 4500 new.

it is too bad that you have to get gouged by the aftermarket

If i had the skills and time I would build enemy self that open up like an old wildernest ( side ways ) with access through the part where the removable roof panels are and that t you could attach/detach from the original hard top That would keep the weight and materials cost down allow for storage if you wanter to take it off.I'd make it so you could take it off and have it essentially a sealed package about the size and length of the top area of the hard top.
You could make one to fit the 2 door too. I think it would be long enough to sleep in if you were using the full length of the top of the 2 door.

ahh dreams from my desk.!!!!!

then just get the pricing down so a poor bum like me could afford to put one on his "maybe a new driving me broke jeep."
