Any experience with ceramic non-stick pans?

I have used them, and they work as described.
PROS
Non-Stick
Easier to clean
CONS
Must be treated with a little more TLC than regular stainless
High Heat has been known to damage cheaper coatings (it peels off)
Can't clean the pots using sand (but non-stick, so hopefully no need for that)
Wood or plastic utensils only (no metal)
If you are going to go with non-stick, get a good quality set. For the car (where weight isn't an issue, and you are likely cooking for small groups), I would reccomend the REI Large Non-stick set. Make sure to put a rag or shammy between the pots when you nest them as the bottoms can scrape the inside of the pot below it. For smaller kits, I would look at MSR or GSI, they are really similar.
Also, instances when you want a super hot pan, with nothing in it but oil (drop biscuits, burritos), these would NOT be the way to go. Cast iron would be the solution in these instances.

I had one of those pans once... (Aternuim brand? something like that... white inside)
Was the best thing ever... (no handle rivets either) You could almost clean it out with nothing more than a dry paper towel... For the first 6 months or so.
Then I guess it must've worn out or something... Gradually over the course of maybe a dozen meals, it went from totally effortless cleanup to having an uncanny ability to hold down bacon like cement (it would tear while trying to unstick it so I could turn it).
Researching these pans again I now see there are numerous others that also experienced the same thing (great at first, then sticks like mad).
Visually the coating on mine still looked 100% brand new (no staining, peeling, dulling of the surface, etc.), so I have no idea what happened to it.
I've switched back to a teflon-coated pan.

I have a pretty good ceramic coated wok in the trailer and have just about stopped using everything else but the Dutch ovens.
Clean-up:
1) wipe with paper towel
2) wipe with Clorox wipe
3) wipe again with a damp paper towel
It's awesome.
My Dutch ovens are both anodized aluminum and they clean up just as easily.

I don't know if you have a SAMs club up there but you can buy these on amazon probably. I use them at home and they blow my exquisite cook ware out of the water. Teflon pans are throw away pans if you cook a lot and should be cheap according to Anthony Bourdain LoL.

I take it with these you just spray a little Pam like oil in it before cooking?
Hopefully it will just need wiped out afterwards and not have to be washed.
I have had my fair share of Teflon in the past, and it always breaks down on me after awhile.
And I am tired of cast iron too.
I have great luck with fried eggs, but omelets always sticks to it, plus they are heavy.
