I know the bed and the cab are seperate but I'm wondering how much flex is really there? Enough to keep you from doing a full length rack from camper shell to front of cab?
Enough....especially on a newer Taco, even more so on a 4 door long bed. Keep in mind that the bed is mounted solid to the frame and the cab is on rubber mounts, and the new mounts especially, allow a lot of cushion (movement). Then add in frame flex.
