Any pics of an OZTENT screen room?

Just picked up a screen room to compliment my RV-3 Oztent, however all my gear is in SD, and I'm not. Does anyone have any experience with the screen room by OZtent? any pics (other than what's on the Oztent site)?

I take it that you are speaking of the peaked side panels and deluxe front panel, which gives you a screen room. This is basicly all I have so that you can see what it might look like. This is an RV-4. Ron

This may give you an idea of the added interior space it gives. There is room to cook and sit, you could actually sleep 2 in this space if you needed to. Sorry for the poor quality pics from my cell phone. Ron

Thanks Ron, no it's not the peaked side panels (tho those are nice). Oztent makes what they call a 'deluxe screen room', that has a floor, doors in all 4 screen walls, flaps that can be setup as awnings all around or hung down to cover the sides.

Once I'm in the field I wanted to try setting it up this way. If it works it would provide a nice large open covered area (3 squares) that might work well to cook under, and a bug proof room that is open (but screened in) to lounge in, and I would still have the 'bedroom' area of the tent itself.

Hey Dave,
I don't remember seeing that screen room. What I have wouldn't really be bug proof as it doesn't have a floor in it. But it does allow several options of set up. I do like how the screen room can be set up totally seperate from the tent. Ron

I have the same set-up as Ron and employ it in the same fashion with my truck. The screen room is nice but why with the side and front panel giving you a screen room.

Just a crazy thought here... why not call Randy or Kim at OZTent USA and ask them for some pics. They sported the screen room attached to their tent at the VT Rally this fall and used it the same way you suggested.

Good idea about talking to Randy / Kim - I will do that. (slap forehead).
As to the 'why' in your post, it's just personal preference, I like having the tub floor, and the ability to pitch the room separate from the tent, and the ability to add to my open covered space, and the price.
