Anyone else build vehicles comparable to AEV?

I spent a good amount of time in that Jeep, the Savagre this spring. The roof basket is NOT mounted to the roll cage as someone mentioned earlier. It is just through the roof panels themselves. Not sure if that is the final solution they recommend, I assume no, but that's how the Savagre is setup. And I agree, the AEV stuff is top notch and rides great. I really admire the fact that they do handling testing with them to make sure that they not only perform well offroad but also handles well on the pavement. Seems like alot of pieced together kits seem to compromise the handling of the vehicles and AEV makes the whole package work well. This to me is what sets them apart from some of the companies that cater to trailer queen rigs. What's the point of having the most capable rig yet it can't drive on pavement?? If you have never driven or ridden in an AEV rig, put it on your to do list.

I've had an AEV 5.7 Hemi Wrangler for the past 6 weeks. I can't imagine anyone else coming close to the quality and perfection that has gone into the AEV.

I would take a look at the burnsville offroad (BOR) conversions. After looking at what both AEV and BOR had to offer my money went to BOR West aka Nemesis Industries. www.nem-ind.com . Those guys are building some seriously cool stuff. And you don't have issues like the fan running all the time, the fact that you can do a 6.4 VVT with a stick or totally integrate a 2011 5.7 VVT and have EVERYTHING work without any CEL's or issues. I drove my conversion for the first time today and it is by far some of the best fabrication work and integration that I've seen. I had a 2011 JKU converted to a 2011 5.7 VVT truck motor, front axle gussets, leveling kit, Nemesis flares and rockers and front bumper and winch installed as well as some JW Speaker LED lights and a TMD hood.

I personally don't buy into the "all things under one roof" theory. Companies specialize for a reason. And there's a reason I don't buy anything from companies like 4wheel parts. They do a lot of things and in my opinion they do very few of them well. And I speak from experience. :Wow1:
