Anyone in the Bay Area use a Yaesu FT2900?

Hello, I'm a new Ham and just installed a Yaesu 2900 2 meter in my rig. I have gone to 2 different ham club meetings to get some help using this radio. Neither one offered much "hands on" help. I have the manual but it is complicated. I wanted to see if any other expo guys in the area could give me some pointers. I seem to hear everyone, but can't get out on it...Thanks in advance, Jason

where you located?

i have a HT yaesu (the vx-7r) that has so much features, i have to carry the manual with me everywhere... lol...

i just checked out what the 2900 is and it should be rather simple to figure out... lol...

i'm in the fremont area.
