Anyone need a 1968 FC Tipper?

"It’s worth remembering that it is old and not in any way a modern vehicle, it is noisy, slow, heavy, drops a bit of oil and requires an element of ongoing care and maintenance, but it is in good order and both unique and great fun.

Me and my family will genuinely be sorry to see it go."

Only a Land Rover owner would understand that last bit! 2,500 quid seems pretty good for that, an extra Perkins and tranny. Shipping might be a bit pricey but what a perfect parts truck for a Rover shop.

Most wouldn't put up with the Perkins in it, but for hauling wood, and the like, which is what I'd use it for, it would be perfect.

Oh, how nice....to bad I am just trying to get a FC101GS back on the road...my wife is going to kill me if I would break that news .....
She already complains because I am collecting all the lost and forgotten, neglected and unused Land Rovers on this island....which I really can´t understand, or do you?

I don't NEED it... But OH BOY DO I WANT IT!!!!!!!!!!!

I've always thought those FC (both types) looked so cool. I love it and it looks to be in reasonably good form for an old Series Rover.

Great find hopefully it goes to a good home.

Cheers

Dave
