To Infinity and Beyond!
Lot's of folks using epoxy covered foam board and/or glue/paint canvas for lightweight trailer builds particularly in teardrop trailers when building the trailer structure on the frame.
Sitting here thinking out loud about using epoxy covered foam board or epoxy fiberglass covered foam board to build a topper to "Top Off" if you will an old small military trailer. This material combination becomes very strong when properly combined, is easily formed to whatever shape you might desire, can allow doors or windows to be fabricated and installed if desired and pretty much let's you do anything your crazy mind can think up. Think of it as a custom built "Topper" for your small trailer or I guess you could do the same for a pickup bed. The cost is not expensive for the materials. The strength of the finished material is very good and it can be finished on the exterior if desired to a very high standard IF looking good on the trail is your thing.
Anyone ever used this construction method in their overland trailer or bed cover build and if so what was your opinion of the results?
