Took some friends on out to Anza Borrego who have never been out there. Explored the mud and wind caves. Earlier in the week, I ran through upper Coyote Canyon and explored the upper reaches of the area.

Hi BW......and welcome to ExPo!

I saw your trip at another website.

Great trip and pics..........thanks for sharing!

Could you please tell us how you got to Bailey's Cabin?

Some folks have said you must come down from the north, which would be from the town of Anza.

Others have shown pics...........while driving straight up to the cabin from the south.

How do we get there?

I can't believe you ran all over the Anza Borrego Desert........and then just appeared at the cabin from the north. That would just take a whole other day! Please let us in on the secret?

If even it must be by PM..........!!!!:costumed-smiley-007  ;)

Hey, thanks for the welcome! Those were actually two different trips. So yeah, you have to take the 79 to 371 to Anza to get to upper Coyote Canyon and Bailey's Cabin. Years ago you used to be able get thru from the south but I believe it was closed off around '94.
