Apple ITouch...which size & apps?

Ok, so I don't need an Iphone, and the service is poor here in Flagstaff, but I do like the idea of being able to have wi-fi web access for email, etc. without bringing my laptop along...

So, the question is...16G or 32G model? I use about 10Gigs on my current video Ipod, but I'm not sure of the memory requirements of the new applications for the Ipod touch?

Not really concerned about the price difference, as it's my office that will be purchasing it for me?

32, you can never have too much space, the apps are fun and don't take much space - and movies on it are stunning.

if you go to macgpspro.com it looks like he is working on a mapping program for the iPhone (iPod Touch also I would think). The actual program is mac only, and uses the actual usgs maps, or whatever you can find (raster maps). Another thing to think about, is the iPhone has a gps.

I really liked EW's Iphone...the gps was awesome, especially the ability to overlay sat images! Truth is...the service here in Flagstaff is no bueno.... Maybe when it gets better I'll upgrade. I'm planning on doing a whole PC to Mac conversion with my office here in the next year or so anyways....

I have had a Touch for a year and a half and got an iPhone about 2 months ago. Now that I have the iPhone I never use the Touch, but I like them both a lot. Too bad AT&T does not have good coverage in your neck of the woods otherwise I would highly recommend the iPhone (except for horrible battery life)...

Maybe we should start a "favorite Apps" thread.

Go for the 32 gig.
