ARB Fridge in a JK - Need Pictures / Ideas

Just bought an ARB 50 qt fridge for my JK and I was looking for layout options for the rear storage for expeditions. I currently have a rear homemade deck cover / wooden trunk cover that I will need to modify or remove to make it fit. Just wondering what others have done. Thanks!

Here's what I did. I don't have any pics with my boxes in but I have 4 "really useful boxes" that fit where the dog is.

The little deck is 2" off the jeep floor. I left enough room to still access the cubby hole also it sits low enough to allow me to open the fridge.

Can't upload pics at the moment, but you can see what I did in my build thread: http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/72945-Expo-Daily-driver-JK-build-(Pic-heavy)

I saw that thread and really love what you did with the rear rack. If I had a hardtop I would have probably already decided to go a similar route. I was hoping to find a way to keep the semi secure storage I have with my rear trunk cover with the top down, but still have the fridge in place. May just have to accept that I have to remove it though.

I think my setup could work well with a soft top if the upper rack is locked with a padlock and some type of container, that could not be opened until the upper rack was unlocked, is used. Small, loose stuff would be open to theft, but the fridge full of your favorite beverages would be safe!

Just got an ARB fridge as well and looking for ideas as well

I just got an ARB fridge as well for a steal of a price. I've been trying to come up with a drawer storage system to set up the fridge on that would maximize my storage with out taking up to much of my cargo area. I have to be able to still get my daughters wheel chair in the back.

I've been looking at building something similar to these ideas on Warfield off road.
With the first 2 I'd probably lose access to the cubby, with the last one I could put in a hidden access panel under the slide for the fridge.

Those are really nice. Just not sure I want to go with full drawers. I was thinking to build a small raised floor (2") for cubby access and storing soft top panels and then modifying my existing trunk cover for the extra height of the fridge. Keeping a good size open storage area for stuffing whatever i need to on day to day, plus having space for boxes when on expeditions.

Only hiccup is the fridge slide itself, personally I think >$300 for a slide is ridiculous. Anyone have a good source for the slide components and I'll just build my own?

For slide check out
http://www.homewarehq.com
or
(removed per manufacturer request) was drawer slides dot com (all one word)
Lowes and Home Depot usualy have in stock some various size light to medium weight slides.

Yeah i was thinking 300 was high for what those fridge slides are until I started looking at the cost of some of the heavy weight slides.

Ok just checked Mc-Master Carr, and their prices on steel slides aren't bad, but if I wanted aluminum I can see where the price could be justified from the fridge slides out on the market.

You'd have to do a search to find the threads and I've got no dog in the fight, but Warfield Offroad has had some product delivery issues. Just a heads up, maybe things have changed.
