In my opinion, you are better off talking to local fabricators and having someone build you a custom bumper. Often times cheaper, better built, and built to suit your taste. Not to mention that you're supporting a smaller and local company.
But that's me, I find most of the off-the-shelf bumper pretty hideous and over-priced.
I have always liked the ranchhand bumpers. I know it kills the aproach angle but with something as big as an f350 I doubt you are worried about that. Plus you could probably pick up one in Texas pretty cheap as you see them all over West Texas
I once saw a picture of a guy in Canada who ran the ARB on his SD. He hit a moose:Wow1: and the bumper survived!! When the moose flipped down the side of the truck it did some pretty good damage, however the front survived with out any mechanical damage.
Lots of options. I think I do need frontal protection for traveling in Montana and other wildlife rich areas. My truck is pretty 'stock looking' and I don't want to add the redneck look. The ARB appeals to me, and one like the aluminum job that Martyn suggested might not weight down the front too much.
Thanks for all your suggestions - I'll look at all of them carefully.

I don't think it effects the approach angle at all or very little.
Here is my Ranchhand bumper with the new lights. I also have a front skid plate.
