Thanks to everyone that came up for the day! We had a total of 4 vehicles leave Chino, (Tami and I, BX and Amy, Rhino and crew, Scott and co.) and met Stephen an Cindy near the start of the road into the ruins.

We had great weather - mid 70's, a light breeze, and for the first time in weeks, great visibility!

After a hearty breakfast at the Old Red Barn, we headed out for a 2 1/2 hour drive to the trail up to the ruins. Along the way we stopped to see lots of other scenery, and other ruins. The hike up to the site was fun as usual, and the ruins are as spectacular as ever.

Rhino had an interesting encounter that had a BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ associated with it. He found himself straddling a Mohave Green...

We had spotty cell service, but could have summoned help via 2M very easily.

great day, thanks for the invite. we rolled back via jerome and the haunted hamburger. those really are some great ruins thanks to the protection from the elements with its location and the lack of visitors.

that mojave didn't strike me cause he knew i was a friend to the animals, just letting me know he was there.

Cool pics, looks like something I'd like to check out in the future too.

I took my best friend and his wife to Red Rock Country on their first trip to AZ this past weekend. Checked out Jerome a bit on Friday, camped up on Mingus then gave them a quick tour of Sedona on saturday, including a quick trip on Broken Arrow.

Saw the ROKLIMO parked on the main drag in Sedona... that is Shotts, isn't it?
