*** RARE FACTORY TURBO DIESEL ***

SUPERBLY EQUIPPED LONG RANGE REMOTE TOURING VEHICLE

Designed for extended off road touring.

If you're serious about exploring Australia's most beautiful destinations this is the vehicle that will get you there & back, worry free, in complete comfort.

These Landcruisers are arguably the most reliable and capable 4wd for remote travel. Used extensively by tag-along tour operators. Go anywhere, tough, reliable, built to last a lifetime.

We had this vehicle fully kitted for travel but due to a back operation, distance & off road driving is no longer possible.

Rare opportunity to purchase one of the last true 4wd's, well below replacement cost. Over $40,000 has been spent improving this vehicle (+$50,000 to repeat).

In absolute top condition, carefully maintained. An inspection will impress. Properly serviced & 5000 klm oil changes.

Detailed service history available. All mechanical work up to date.

ODO - 182,571 klms. Low kilometers for this engine which is well known for its longevity and reliability.

Yes, will be very sorry to see her go. They're a bulletproof truck.
Quite nervous about moving to a modern day tech filled vehicle that's for sure.

I imagine this would be a great fully outfitted option for 1-2 international travelers wanting to explore Oz for an extended period of time. Arrive & drive, and then sell once trip is over. Would very likely be cheaper than renting for an extended period.

P.S. for those wondering, 1500 km (D&D article) - 2000 km (vehicle description) / 270L tank = ~ 13 - 17 miles per US gallon.

Yes, ~1500 - 2000 klms. Off/On Road.
Worked on 18 litres/100klms for off road driving fully loaded at 3.25 tonne -1500
On the bitumen 13.5 litres/100klms loaded at 3.25 tonne - 2000.
Based on actual logs and weighbridge figure.

your not wrong there, and apart from being cheaper than a long term rental, you just can't rent a cruiser setup like that, even in Australia.
