Australian articulating ball couplers? (ARK, Al-Ko, etc.)

Does anyone here have any experience with the Australian articulating ball couplers? I would prefer to use a ball hitch for a variety of reasons, mostly related to not having to have a special hitch mount that may or may not be hard to get. These seem to fit the bill of using a ball hitch while still having off road worthy articulation.

Thoughts? I haven't seen much anywhere outside Australia regarding these.

They're designed to run on a 50mm not a 2" ball, so you'll need to get an Aussie ball as well.

Alternatively, the VC and McHitch options avoid that.

1.97 inches isn't close enough? Sad days.

That aside, I feel like a 50mm hitch ball is still easier to come by. I can apparently pick one up for $10 on Amazon. I feel like if I was bothering to get the VC or McHitch I would just go for one of the off road couplers available state-side that uses a nonstandard coupling.

It's more the American one will be 50.8mm that's the problem.

I don't see that many using a ball coupling here in Australia, I specifically didn't as not using it made the trailer that bit more secure, less likely to have a casual thief with the correct coupling ;)
