Australian Jeep Jamboree 2012

So down here in Australia we have a Jeep Jamboree every two years, it's always run by a local club and the 2012 one is run by the Sydney Jeep Club.

If you're interested in what we do or would like to plan a trip and come along (you'll really need a Jeep to appreciate it properly) then checkout the website.

Way cool. That sure would be fun to go to. Wonder how many Jeeps you could fit in a shipping container?

If anyone is keen on coming along I'm sure we could find some seats in Jeeps if shipping your own is just too much Anyway, you've got over a year to save and plan

When I put my TJ in a container to cross the Darien gap I did the measurements.. Three TJ's would be extremely close to fitting into a 40' - I think with my little tube bumpers it was going to be fractionally too long, though it gets a lot shorter if I take off the front bumper.
Typically, you'll only get two big 4x4s into a 40'er

As it was we put a Defender 110 in with my TJ and still had plenty of space for a couple of motorbikes, but we couldn't find any that wanted to share.

We finally sat around long enough with the crayons to come up with the logo Things are starting to move along and it would be great to see some overseas visitors so pencil it into the calendar
