aux fuel

researching for a DII build, but this is mainly just a curiosity question. Anyone have aux or secondary fuel tanks? I looked at the Long Ranger. I've got the onboard shower covered, onboard air system designed, so now I'm looking at fuel options.

Save your criticism. This is not a "necessity." I don't go off for weeks at a time in areas with no gas stations, etc. An extra 5 gallon jerry can would serve me just fine. Just curious, and looking for ways to be different. Plus, I like the idea of knowing you have a 500+ mile range. :coffeedrink:

I was looking at the same idea myself. Most people I know have a second tank on their Defenders, but the cost of doing it is too great for me.. A friend suggested that I go with Jerry cans which I have done so far..only costme 5.-- chf about $4.-- each so I got 5 cans. Used but perfect condition from the Swiss Army.. Only problem is I don't like to carry them inside of my truck. worried about the fumes etc...
