Aux Fuse Block Question

I have no need for a dual battery system but i want to wire some stuff in the rear of my samurai.

Would it be better to have the block in the rear and run a cable to the battery under the hood or have the fuse block under the hood and run cable to the accessories?

Whatever is more convenient, which would probably be a single cable to the rear rather than a bundle.

As long as everything is properly fused it shouldn't make a difference, convenience that's the best way of going about it. Imho

Just wanted to make sure there wasnt a safety issue i was overlooking.

Panel at the back, but fuse the line feeding it at the battery source end. You want to protect against damage / short on that cable run. All of that added run is exposure / risk.
