Awning "tent": is it a vestibule, annex, or "add a room"?

I have a Cascadia (CVT) awning and bought the awning walls with it. The "walls" are heavy and cumbersome. I was hoping to replace the set up with something made from traditional tent fabric that's so much lighter.

When I go to search around it seems like every manufacturer calls it something different. I'm guessing I might have to replace the whole set up to have it all fit. Sometimes I use the awning alone for shade at races. And when I go camping, I'd like the room walls for changing and sleeping.

Anyone know a lightweight version? Or is it all rip stop nylon?

Thanks in advance

Awning walls are going to be made of the same material as the awning itself unless you want the mosquito mesh. Have you considered looking at popup canopy walls? It more than likely won't be a perfect fit, but they'd be made out of something lighter weight. Another option is to use three or four tarps of appropriate size zip-tied to the awning supports, you can even get a zipper from your local big box hardware store to make a door in your preferred location.
