Married guy with family out of town with a long weekend = get as far away from everyone and everything as reasonably possible.

Recipe:

1. Have zero plans,
2. Ensure wife takes good camera with her so you're left with junky mobile phone cam,
3. Canned foods serve as their own pot and bowl,
4. High altitude = escape heat,
5. Set up base camp with an Eezi-Awn 2200.
6. Take some lame pictures with junky mobile phone cam,

• Climb as high as you can.
• Do not bring any crampons, snowshoes, helmets, or picks despite what everyone else is doing. Snow fields are perfectly traversable in trail running shoes and short sleeves.
• Find next peak. Wash, rinse, repeat.

• Do not share/post self-pictures of giving the bird to close friends from atop,
• Go have some brews with some hippie friends.

Looks like you had a great time. I use to go all the time by myself, it`s easier to make up plans as you go.
Most of the time when I go somewhere, it`s not planned out much.
Just point the rig in any direction, hit the throttle and go.
