Backup Camera Relocation?

Has anyone sucsesfully relocated the backup camera to account for a swing out? Any ideas?

I don't have a swing out but have the tailgate down to accommodate my 8' camper in my 6.5' bed. I got camera mounted in a license plate frame from Cubby Cam. It connects right to my factory wiring and displays on my factory display. Works great.

Looks like these are for GM products. Kind of expensive also. Has anyone removed the camera from the latch and re used it someplace else?
