Hey guys,
I have a 2000 Toyota 4runner (Limited, 4WD) that's had a front-end hum for the last few months. I tried rotating the tires, but it made no difference. The sound only appears in the 30-45mph range and is a cyclical "wumwumwum" that is a lot like sound of mud tires. It seems to be associated with a slight vibration in the floorboard.
Today I took off the wheel, caliper, and rotor so I could rotate the CV freely. Please see the attached video for the sound I discovered.

I just wanted to get some more insight before I commit to taking my truck to the stealership for a fix. It's been years since I've had someone else repair something on my vehicle...I'm not looking forward to getting the runaround.
