Well, another awesome trip south of the border.

Had a small group of three rig and 7 people. Perfect!

First day
-Crossed in Tecate in AM
-Searched for the Mines in Laguna Hansen (didnt find any)
-Camped in Laguna Hansen Friday PM

Second Day
-Explored LH Area a little more
-Exited LH in and headed to San Felipe for some Grub
-Enjoyed Fish Tacos in SF
-Headed South to Puertecitos (on Al and Allens recommendation, good call guys!!)
-Got there just as night fell
-Found random spot on beach and setup camp in the dark

Third Day
-Found out the random place we set up at in the dark was actually a somewhat abandoned campground that was perfect for what we wanted
-Went snorkeling in the 70 degree sea of cortez :D
-Packed up and headed south toward Bay of LA
-Didnt find anything within the first 50 miles so we retreated back to same spot and setup again so we wouldnt have a 9+ hour ride home! :D

Fourth Day
-More Snorkeling
-Fueled up in SF (NOT ME :D )
-Had lunch at the Playa Del Oro Grill
-Headed home to Reality Via Mexicali

I recommend crossing in Tecate, Mexicali SUCKS! :D

Anyway, here are some pics

Great pics Kevin!

I really wanted to go...but, oh well. Excuses suck.

But obviously your trip didn't.
Good job. Looks like a fun trip. A car-top-tent convention.

This is cool.

I'm curious about your camps. Like this one:

Was this the abandoned place, or somewhere else?

It was "Somewhat Abandoned" as in, it looked like no one had been there for a long time!

However, there was someone in a trailer nearby there that came out the second night we were there and sold us some wood!

I too liked the pictures, I look’s like you had great weather (No wind) thank you for sharing. Trip reports like yours keep me motivated to prepare my truck for longer adventures.

What team will you be pitting for at the SF 250?
