Batteries on sale at Sears (online only)

Just an FYI for everyone -

Sears is having an online only sale that includes the Auto Dept. and marine batteries. There is also an online coupon code to save $10 off of $75:

I just bought a Group 31 (PM1) Diehard Platinum for pickup at a local Sears for $213 (reg. price $275). Thought this could be helpful to someone!

That's a great price for that battery. One thing to check though, especially if you're not getting it on that sale:

My local sears had them on the shelf for LESS than the online sale price when I originally bough mine. Now, the in-store price wasn't as good as the sale Zuren just posted, but was about $15 better than the online "sale" price at the time.

Worth a call to check before you place your online order, anyhow, since once you pay online, it seems like it's difficult for the store to credit you back the difference if the in-store price is lower.

Very true! I have had that happen to me before for other items. You could just return the battery purchased online then buy it again at the instore pricing if they really wanted to be difficult. I'll make a pass through the Auto Dept. on my way to mechandise pickup just to check.

Hey how did you get it for $213?!! I checked online, the Group 31 is on sale $247.49. And with the additional $10 (SAVENOW) discount, the price is $237.49 which is not bad but $213 is even better!!

So is the price cheaper in Massachusetts or what?!!

There was an additional "online only sale" mark down on top of the $247.49 sale price. That sale has now expired. Then add the $10 discount and no sales tax (closest Sears that had one when I ordered was in NH - no sales tax!) and I came out to $213.xx.

The $10 off of a purchase of $75+ will be expiring today.
