As usual, crossposted on the Fullsize Jeep boards...

Four hours with a rotary polisher and some Zymol wax, and I am amazed by the results. Also got the seat rebuilt and redone, carpet is being ordered from B&J next week, and life is looking good.

Now if only the **** throttle would function properly.

New seat - took two professionals 7 hours to repair springs, refoam, and recover.

Jim - with Dizzel climbing rapidly to $5/gal, I have put a temporary hold on that part of the buildup. Just doesn't make sense to drop $10k in order to gain 5mpg.

Will keep everybody posted on the latest mod... I almost want to spill the beans, but I want to make sure it works before I gloat
