BFG KO2 Review in ice storm

Last night we had a ice storm that dropped 2-3" of ice. I wanted to test the BFG KO2s in the ice and see how they did compared to last year when it sniwed alot and iced here. I have to say i am very impressed! They grabbed extremely well and i could slam on breaks and i wouldnt slide far at all, I can still do it but getting it sideways is alot harder to do because these tires grip so well! Overall these tires are awesome and a huge improvement oer last year in the snow and ice when i didnt have them. Buy Them!

That is good to hear. Was just considering them for my Ram 1500 for off road and winter tire. Was watching a BFG tire test video and they look pretty bomb proof. Was wondering how they did in actual winter driving and you answered that.

Nice to hear. I am still waiting for my 315 75 16 tires to come in. I ordered them back in November, last word is they will be here in March. Looks like I will have to wait for next winter to try them in the snow.

I just drove a few miles to eat breakfast and no problems even on the bridges and hills worked fine.

But the important question is: what did you have for breakfast?

Thanks for the update; I've been considering these or Duratracs when my stockers wear out.

When the 35x12.5R17's are available, I'll probably have to get a set of these for my Jeep. I haven't heard a bad thing about them yet, but not too many people have put many miles on them in a complete variety of terrain yet.

These are going on the LC first since we've got a 6K mile trip in the works for June - mostly touring and some dirt - so the LC is the ticket when the whole family comes along.

They would be perfect for that. And me and my buddy were driving around yesterday in the ice and went offroad on some muddy ice covered dirt roads and he was impressed even though he all ready has BFG KOs and now he wants to order him some KO2s.

The JK will get a set once i do the lift and other bits.. i don't think the D90 tires (A/T KO's) are ever going to wear out :) i've put 50k on them already and they look great. work good at URE as well for most stuff there.
