This has been a long time coming. I will post projects and adventures here.

$21,500 with 19k miles

2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee
4.7 V8 2nd Gen (dual plug)
Quadra Trac II 4x4 3:73 gears
Modernblue paint, Laredo X Trim
Leather seats, sunroof, Boston Acoustics Stereo

First Trip Off Road : St. Mary's Glacier
First Mods: Front windows tinted
Magnaflow 13742 muffler welded in

My wife drove the Jeep full time at this point.

2013

2013 was a big year. I sold my S10 ZR2 and bought my wife a new car. A 2013 Dodge Durango Hemi AWD Crew.
I then inherited the Jeep full time. The real build started then.

2015

First trip of the year on my new RC lift

MOAB !

I destroyed my stock sway bar bushings in Moab. I also discovered that I needed to adjust my steering yoke to tighten the rack.

New MOOG sway bar bushings installed.

I un plasti-dipped my wheels at some point.

Upper ball joint on passenger side started making a knock over every bump. New moog problem solvers installed on both sides for good measure.

Project! Rusty powder coat on my 4xguard front guard.

I originally wanted a black front guard but i got a great deal on the used silver one. I used dupli-color black bedliner with a red accent in the vent holes. Im going with the trailhawk red accent theme.

In action:

We camped at McDonough Reservoir for Labor Day weekend. It rained most of the time. Parked on an incline, rain ran off the tarp really well. It rained all night friday and saturday night. No issues. It held up well in the wind also.

No problems with transport off road or on road at 75 mph.

Sold the Jeep for many reasons, some personal and some frustration. Not enough room in it to get my family into the woods overnight.

I'm not going anywhere..... The WK is gone but the adventures continue.
